He is survived by: his children, Jessa Welch (Cody Herson), Kirsten Wood (Matt Sutton Sr.) and Amanda Lawrence (David); the mother of his children Sandra Wood; his grandchildren, Braiden Welch, Brailee Welch, Matthew Sutton Jr., Alexander Wood, Josaline Sutton, Draven McCarthy, Dakota McCarthy and Austin McCarthy; and his siblings, Linda Christensen, Leroy II Girard (Teresa) and Larry Girard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
