It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Kathleen Avila of Rothbury, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Maxine Hamerick, Russ Hornsby, Gerry and Jack Flanery. She is survived by: her parents, Richard Hornsby and Venus Hornsby; her husband Raymundo Avila; her daughters, Adrianna and Saylah Avila; her sisters, Rebecca Merrill (Christopher) and Ashley Perez (Jesse); her great-aunt Pamela Hocker; and her granddaughters, Devony Avila-Willett and Alliannah Avila-Willett.
