It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine J. Tietz of Rothbury, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Blohm and Martha Blohm (Brychel); her husband Donald E. Tietz; her son David Tietz; and her siblings, Ernest, Paul Blohm, Ellen Zimmerman and Loueen Rudat.
She is survived by: her children, Norman Tietz (Shelley) and Julie Tietz; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Tietz. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family perfectly understands if you are hesitant to attend her visitation during this time of elevated Covid numbers and want to also extend the invitation for you to attend the graveside service in the spring.
