He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Zajdman and Jacob Zajdman; his wife Cathy; his children, Joshua (Davida Finger), David (Julie Conklin), Risa Lichtman (Jamie Thrower) and Maceo Bishop; and his grandchildren, Emzi, Laizer, Benjamin and Lou.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beth Moses Cemetery (20711 Masonic, Roseville, MI 48066).
