He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Analou Scharf; his children, Timothy Scharf, Tiana Scharf and Hannah Scharf; his grandchildren, Matthew Wesley Scharf, Casey Nelson Scharf and Joshua Aaron Scharf; and his great grandchild Aiala Scharf.
