He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Silagi and Helen Silagi; and his siblings, Theodore and Anne. He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Beresford, Michael Silagi and Ryan Silagi; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Hunter, Logan, Grace and Sophia; and his siblings, John Silagi (Blanca), Mary Wardlaw (Ronald) and Roger Silagi (Shelly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
