She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ibrahim Bassir and Naifeh Bassir; her husband Michael; her children, Victor Awwad (Donna), George Awwad (Judette), Abdallah Awwad (Taghreed), Elias Awwad (Dawn) and Lydia Awwad; and her siblings, Issa Bassir (Rose), Matilda Constantinedes (Henry) and Awwad Bassir (Nadia). She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
