He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sawyer and Nan Sawyer; and his siblings, Patricia Ullmann and Robert "Bobby" Sawyer. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Sawyer; his sons, Joseph Sawyer (Candice) and Matthew Sawyer (Sheila); and his grandchildren, Shelley Sawyer (Heath Bennett), Taryn Sawyer and Joshua Sawyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
