It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Mary Rotarius of Roseville, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank (Julianna "Julia" Kapalla) and Irene; her husband Sylvester J. Rotarius; and her daughter Deborah Cogan. She is survived by: her siblings, Theodore "Teddy", George, Harry Kapalla and Lillian Hopp; her children, Roger Rotarius, Timothy Rotarius (Jan) and Donna Karas (Chris); her grandchildren, Amy Rotarius, Ashley Rotarius (Jason Berlingieri), Sarah Carlson (David) and Joshua Rotarius; and her great grandchildren, Luca and Tristen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaul Funeral Home (27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville, MI 48066). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary (25320 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015).
