She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Kempe and Julianna Kempe (Eberhardt); her husband Edgar Pfeiffer of Martin's Church; and her sister Gerda Sürig. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Penny), Andrew and Linda Pfeiffer; her grandchildren, Julianna (Luke), Samuel (Josie), David, Sydney and Erin; and her brother Horst Kempe (Hella). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
