She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bray and Genevieve Bray (Lewgot); her husband Arnold C. Kanachki; her nephew Kenny Tighe (Mona); and her sisters, Jaqueline Tighe, Marylee Walker and Pammie Bray.

She is survived by: her nephew Larry Walker (Linda); her nieces, Sue Soboleski (Ted), Kathie Dillon (Steve) and Becky Stevens (John); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Holly, Nick Walker, Michael (Rachel), Jenni Zaidi (Jeremy), Krystal McIntosh, Kenny Tighe (Marissabelle), Kristina Taras, Brittanie Donahey (Evan), Jessa Stallsmith, Zoe Dillon, John and Hunter Stevens; and also, Jaden Paxton, Jayce Zaidi, Abby, Eden McIntosh, Rylee, Bailey, Paisley, Brinley Stevens, Savannah Tighe and Arthur Taras.

“To Geri's Family, I'm sorry I wasn't able to come to the phone when the call came to tell me about her passing. I will truly miss her presence in my life. She would tell me about something spiritually uplifting that she read or heard during the week. Then I would share with her something spiritual I had written during the week. Geri was the most sincere, humble and trusting soul, I'd ever met. I know she is with God, and he will take very good care of my much-loved friend.”
