It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve LaJoy Carissimi (Roseville, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bumiller and Lorena Bumiller; her sisters, June and Beverly; her daughter Penny Bush (Case); and her grandson Lonnie Bush.

She is survived by: her children, Cherie Hartsig (Case), Alan Case (Sue Hunt), Susan (Scott) and Queen (Doyle). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
