He was predeceased by: his parents, Teresa and Frank; and his siblings, Mary, Paul and John.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Maryanne MacLeod (Bruce) and James (Mary); and his grandchildren, Jack, Annie, James and Jude. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
