He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Husband and Annie Singleton Husband (Karen); his children, Pete Singleton (Nina), Sean Singleton, Jessica Singleton (Steve Cahill), Crystal Lamparski, Shannon Singleton, Ricky, Matthew, Mark and David Singleton; his grandchildren, David Singleton III, Michael Snyder, Steve Cahill, Evelyn Singleton, Tyler Crank and Kash Cahill; his siblings, Lottie Skelton (Edgar), Brenda Lawson, Thelma "Sissy" Singleton, Shirley Awers, Willie, Joe Singleton, Joann Silcox, Bessie Mae Leach, Jetta Blankenship, Betty Lou McNelly, Clyde, Jack and Bobbie Singleton; and his pet Sandra. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
