He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick Gaffigan and Mary Marie Gaffigan (Williams); his sisters, Margaret Gaffigan and Rosalyn Horn; his parents-in-law, Jim and Paulette Berish; his sister Scarlett Otzel; and his brother-in-law George Otzel.
He is survived by: his close friend Lynn Spillman; his wife Jenny Lynn; his daughters, Stefanie Gaffigan Williams (Kirk Williams) and Michele Gaffigan (Kenny Hunt); his grandchildren, Maya, Gerard, Wyatt and Colette; his siblings, Carolyn Gaffigan, Gwendolyn Shaffer (Walt), Madeline Gaffigan, Brian Gaffigan (Terry) and Wendy Jouad (Mostafa); his siblings-in-law, Larry Spillman and Kelly St. Onge; and also Michele. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Dave would have appreciated donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital, the ASPCA and the Detroit Zoo.
