It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carpoforo Chavez (Roseville, Michigan), who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Flavio Chávez and Herminia Chávez (Lozano); his grandchildren, Jermaine and Dale Mance; and his siblings, José Chávez, María Chávez (Concepcion) of Jesus and Gerónima Chávez.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Martín Chávez (Marina Santini) and Christina Molson (Michael); his stepchildren, Fidel Cantú (Teresa), Pedro Cantú (Elena), Monica Torres (Francisco), Roberto Cantú and Francisca Almeida (Oscar); and his siblings, Rita Rodríguez (Amador), Herlinda Márquez (Rodolfo), Valente Chávez (Cruzita), Efigenia Gutiérrez (Ofelio) and Francisca Loya (Gustavo). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, 23 nieces/nephews, 46 grand-nieces/nephews, and 12 great grand-nieces/nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
