She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Johnson and Catherine Johnson (Lambert); her husband Thomas Powell; her daughter Nancy Langlois (Phil); and her siblings, Bernice Pierce (Ray), Marion VanNess (Robert), Howard Johnson (Olive), Charles Johnson (Betty), Fey Johnson and Gerald Johnson (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Flaugher (Ted) of Lake, Terrance Powell (Charlene) of Grand Rapids, Marylyn Gross (Tom) of Beal City, Dan Powell (Laurie) of Mt. Pleasant, Karen Schafer of Spartanburg, SC and Patrick Powell (Ellen) of Weidman; and her sister-in-law June Powell of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
