He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Arntz and Hazel Arntz (Thayer); his wife Delores; and his siblings, Oscar, Louis, Iva, Eva, Donna Fae and Daniel.

He is survived by: his children, Matthew Arntz of Rose City, Thomas Arntz (Dawn) of Rose City, Rose Chapman (John) of Lapeer, Brad Arntz of Flint and Kathy Brookshire (David) of West Branch; and his brothers, Donald Arntz of Lupton and Johnny Arntz of Rose City. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
