It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madeline Mae Rice of Rose City, Michigan, born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kilgus and Ivia Kilgus (Dick); her husband Jack Rice (Jack); and her brother Dick Kilgus. She is survived by: her children, Betty Goodwin (Paul) of Massachusetts, Cheryl Gamber (Cliff) of St. Louis, MI and Roger Rice (Kimberley) of Rose City; her grandchildren, Nathan Goodwin (Joanna), Matthew Goodwin (Tammy), Katherine Bowditch (Chris), Charlotte Landry (Marshall), Hannah Rice, Casey Gamber, Cameron Gamber and TuNyei Goodwin; and her sister Pauline Johnson (Ivar). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
