Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lewis Elijah Teeples of Rose City, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 95, on December 21, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Teeples and Georganna Teeples (Atherton); his wife Betty; and his great grandchildren, Nate Payne and Jeremy Hayman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Payne (Michael) and Gloria Whitener; his grandchildren, Deborah, Lisa, Tasha, Matthew and Karista; and his sisters, Deda Arntz and Betty Avery. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Heartland Hospice in Lewis' memory.
