He is survived by: his children, Kristina Nowlin (Bill) of Midland, Charles W. Hicks of Rose City and Holly Hicks of Rose City; and his siblings, Martha Haslip, Simone Willet, Barb Eno and Harold Hicks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
