Thela Catherine Ostling Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thela Catherine Ostling of Roscommon, Michigan, born in Vermontville, Michigan, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauren Dean and Alta Dean (Crook); her grandparents, Arthur, Catherine "Mae" Crook, Charles and Florence Dean; her husband Ralph Ostling; her son Kurt Ostling (Judy Cunningham); and her niece Carole Ostling.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Ostling (Ben Pensak) and Erik Ostling of Cincinnati, OH; her great grandchildren, Mason and Elin; her daughter-in-law Debbie Ostling of Cincinnati, OH; her nephew Jim; and her niece Pam Ostling of Roscommon, MI. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and, cousins.
If so desired, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in Thela's name to the Ralph Ostling Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Roscommon County Community Foundation, P.O. Box.
