He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bratfish and Katie Bratfish (Poole); his wives, Louisa and Inabeth; his daughter-in-law Shawn Pardue; and his sister Betty Nowakowski (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his children, Paul Bratfish, Janice Hanselman (Jeffrey), Carl Bratfish, Catherine Steplitus (Michael) and Susan Guay (Edmond); his stepson Rick Mailand (Debbie); his grandsons, Evan Bratfish-Pardue (Crystal), Joseph and Kenneth Steplitus; his great grandchildren, Quincy Lovell, Amir Matthews, Fredi, Cooper, Mai, Ava, Parker Mailand, Ella and Charlotte Condrey; and his sister Berneice Southworth (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions be made in Herman's name to the American Heart Association or to Toys for Tots.
