Gerald Owen Werle Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Owen Werle of Roscommon, Michigan, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Werle and Martha Werle (Hayden); his granddaughter Claire Turrill; and his sister Jeanene Melaas. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Louise Szydlowski (Brooks) of Roscommon; his children, Calla J. Werle (Douglas Turrill), Kenneth Werle (Ann), Gerald Adam Werle (Nancy) and Suzanne Trahan; his grandchildren, Colleen Kolacz (Aaron), Dr. Danielle King (Kellen), Dr. Tyler Trahan, MD, McKenna Turrill and Matthew Werle; his great grandchild Nora; and his brother Dwight Werle (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Special Olympics of Michigan, as well as the Roscommon Area District Library.
