He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Larson and Ina Larson (Tomberg); and his brother Roger Larson (Wanda). He is survived by: his wife Caroline Simitz; his children, Lars Larson (Aimee) and Erika-Ann Larson; his sister Beverly Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Curt Larson, Eric Larson, Laurie Nelson and Kevin Larson.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in Gerald's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the Roscommon County Animal Shelter, or Leader Dogs for the Blind.
