He is survived by: his significant other Joan Beaver; his children, Robert Salter (Lisa) of Shreveport, Lisa Salter of Roscommon and John Salter (Heather) of Melbourne, Florida; his grandchildren, Crystal, Justin, Jannah, Allison, Jackson, Ashley, A. J. and Jordan; his brother William Salter (Joyce); his brother-in-law Ed O'Droski; his nieces and nephews, Jean Ann, William, Jr., Jim, Sulayne and Bryan; and his friend Bill Beggs. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
