He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Byers and Edna Byers (Davis); his wife Barbara Davis; his son Richard Byers; and his siblings, Warren Byers and Jane Kopilchack.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Belkowski (Walt) of Waterford, Michael Byers (Judy) of Roscommon, Susan Hudson (Bob) of Rochester and Lori Byers of Jacksonville, Florida; and his brother Arthur Byers. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
