It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Yarrington (Roscommon, Michigan), born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Yarrington and Olive May Yarrington (Shipley); the mother of his children Norah Catherine Yarrington Freer (Supinger); his stepmother Mae Yarrington (Dunlap); his sister Roberta Quay (Yarrington); and his stepsister Susan Hardesty (Yarrington).
He is survived by: his children, Gail Johnson (Yarrington) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Rick Yarrington of Portage, Michigan, Pat Tom Mahood (Yarrington) of Mattawan, Michigan, Dave Yarrington (Pam) of Gaylord and Beth Carl VonHinken (Yarrington) of Midland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Per Don's wishes and at the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to the First Congregational Church, Roscommon (food pantry); the Roscommon County Commission on Aging; or to a local humane society.
