He is survived by: his former wife Sonja Barnes of Leesville Louisiana; his sons, John Barnes (Shelley) of Fort Sam, Houston of Texas and Carl Duenas (Daniel); his grandchildren, Chelsea Martinez (Edan) of Sierra Vista, Kristopher Barnes of Tucson and Ian Barnes of Leesville, Louisiana; his great grandchild Aizen Martinez; his sisters, Edith Griffith of Pineville and Rosie Kramer of Southgate, Michigan; his stepchildren, Tammy and Howard; his grandchildren, Greg, Samantha and Eddie; and his great grandchildren, Connor and Aida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
