She was predeceased by: her father Roy Love; and her brothers, Roy and Robert Love. She is survived by: her mother Nina Love (Evans); her children, Ellen Akhurst (Donald), Eileen Buss (Lyle) and Eric Eliason; her grandchildren, Patryk Akhurst (Breanne), Katelyn Akhurst, Bryenna Akhurst, Heather Buss and Holly Buss; and her brother Thomas Love (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to Mercy Hospice.
