With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Towler of Romulus, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Farrand and Maud Farrand (Chantry); her husband Larry E. Towler; her son Jeffrey E. Towler; her grandsons, Matthew and Mark; and her siblings, Joan and Roy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Durfee (Cliff) and Lynne Hagerty (Marty); her grandchildren, Nick (Krystal), Karli (Ryan) and Jared; her great grandchildren, Noah, Hayden, Eleanor and Elliot; her sisters, Lela Markham and Janet Riggs; and her daughter-in-law Cherie Towler (John). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
