She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A. Abernethy and Ruth Gilbert Abernethy; her husbands, Earl F. Block and John A. Brown; her son Robert E. Block (Michelle) of Belleville; and her grandson Jon Bergman.
She is survived by: her brother Robert K. Abernethy (Jeanne) of Leesburg, VA.; her children, Marjorie Bergman (Block) of Romulus and Thomas F. Block (Barbara) of Romulus; and her grandchildren, David Bergman and Beth Bergeron.
