She was predeceased by: her husband Harry W. Atherton; her parents, Ernest George Bloomfield and Gladys Pearl Bloomfield (Laura); her sons, Steven Atherton and Douglas Atherton; her siblings, Donald Bloomfield, Marvin Bloomfield, Ken Bloomfield and Beverly Bloomfield (Neal); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Bloomfield and Anne Bloomfield.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Wright (Ed Elliott), Debra Stobbe (Charles), Tamera Candell, Joseph Atherton (Catherine), Maria Carlisle, Tina Collins (Chris), Tonya Atherton, Melissa Ison (Jeremy), Monica Hardrick (Matt), Kristina Queen (Ron) and Deanna Atherton (Craig Herron); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Atherton; and her siblings, Arlene Flaishans (Jake) and Darryl Bloomfield. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Foundaton.
