He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Butler and Lucille Aldson; his siblings, Sandra "Diane" Hicks and Gary Clark; and his stepfather Robert Aldson.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Hardy (Demetrius), Lantaya Clark and Carlos Clark II; his grandchildren, Jordon, Nicholas, Christian, Caiden, Rylee, Noah, Reagan, Raquel, Noelle and Sawyer; his brother Robert "Frank" Aldson; his nieces and nephews, Delicia, Aretha, Tiffany, Diamond, Robert, Deandre, Aaron and Frank; and his cousins, Bunny and Portia (Alverna Williams).
