She was predeceased by: her parents, George Layh and Fay Layh (Yenglin); her husband Harvey Springstubbe; and her brothers, George Layh, Jr. and Clayton Layh.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Springstubbe (Marlene) of Richmond and Darryl Springstubbe (Lisa) of Palms; her granddaughter Alicia Finn (Steve) of Romeo, Kristy.; and her great grandchildren, Chase Finn (Gabby), Tristan Finn (Becca), Ethan Finn, Asher Finn, Anna Klein, Kaylee Klein, Maxwell and Clare.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Muir Funeral Home (296 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (246 Benjamin St, Romeo, MI 48065).
