It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Terence Oakes of Romeo, Michigan, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Oakes and Dorothy Oakes; and his wife Rosemary DeLuyck. He is survived by: his children, Terri Fecteau (Mike), Michael Oakes (Peggy), Kristen Walters (Greg) and Melissa Timpa (Mike); his grandchildren, Mike Fecteau (Beth), Dave Fecteau (Amy), Zachary Walters (Emma), Shelby Beachnau (Tanner), Colin Walters (McKenzie Ahmet), Emily Oakes, Mackenzie Walters, Taylor Oakes, Julia Timpa, Sydney Timpa and Michael Timpa; and his great grandchildren, Max, Ellie, Hannah and Wes Fecteau.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042).
