He was predeceased by : his parents, James and Jean (Walker); and his son Chris. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Schocke; his children, Jim Schocke (Lisa), Jennie Krimian (Ara), Michael Schocke, Andy Schocke (Sabrina) and Stephen Schocke (Brooke); and his brother Gary Schocke (Marge). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hillsdale College.
