It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary L. Burns (Romeo, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Recor and Margaret Recor (Ryan); her siblings, Jack Recor and Joellen McAuley; and her son-in-law Alvin Grinde.

She is survived by : her husband James Burns; her children, Debra Grinde of Milton, FL, Maureen of Romeo, Shannon Griffin (Jeff) of Romeo, Bridget Kowalke (Jeff) of Washington and Matthew (Deborah) of Armada; her grandchildren, Patrick (Alaina), Michael (Michelle), Matthew, Connor (Taylor), Cameron, Owen, Benjamin and James; and her great grandchildren, Josie, Mack and Tessa. She is also survived by extended family, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
