It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Stephen Hiel (Romeo, Michigan), who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hiel and Angela Hiel (Gonter); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Weyersberg (Ron) of Washington Twp and Noreen James (Robert) of Fort Gratiot; his nieces and nephews, Jacklin Kasper (Brad), Angela Watanabe (Daiki), Alyssa Droege (Steven) and Tiffane James; and his great-nephews, James, Benjamin, William, Brady, Austin and Koby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Mark's name would be appreciated.
