He was predeceased by: his father John Joseph Mackovjak. He is survived by: his wife Jane Elizabeth Miller; his sons, John (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant and Paul (Monique) of New Haven, Michigan; his grandchildren, John, Luke, Mariana, Elise and Nathan; his mother Betty Mackovjak of Roseville, Michigan; and his siblings, Dale (Sharon) of Saline and Marilyn Palazzolo (Jack) of Weehawken. He is also survived by 36 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Clement of Rome parish in Romeo.
