He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter DeSantis and Anna DeSantis (Somma); his wife Leone; his son John; his sons-in-law, Michael Galaz, Louis Brock and Robert Phillips; and his sister Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Michael DeSantis (Shelly) of Maryland, Angela Galaz of California, Linda Schultz (Scott) of Macomb Township, Margaret (Les Whitcomb) of Romeo, Anna Micks (Al) of Missouri, Nancy Brock of Washington and Edith Phillips of Mount Clemens. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The lying in state will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Clement Catholic Church (343 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065). A Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065).
