It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Joan Kortes of Romeo, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellison Gotting and Olive Gotting (Joseph); and her siblings, Jack Gotting and Shirley Uzarek. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Kortes; her children, Shelly LaFord (John P.), Lenny Dahlman (Allene), Cindy Kimball (Bob) and John Kortes (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jason Farr, Jami Martin, Janell Hollister (Brad) and Karissa Bartley (Jared); her great grandchildren, Gianna, Brayden and Jayden; and her sister Marilyn MacDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or to the Disabled Veterans.
