He was predeceased by : his parent Elden Barry Phillips. He is survived by : his mother Candace Garrigues; his daughters, Destiny Bradford of Frederick, Samantha E. Phillips of Romeo and Jacqueline Phillips of Romeo; his granddaughter Eira; and his siblings, Lorri DuBay of Washington, Clara Elswick of Warren and Russell Phillips of Sterling Heights.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
