She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Malburg and Alice Malburg (VanThomme); her husband Maurice D'Hondt; and her grandson Ben Hessell. She is survived by: her children, Dennis D'Hondt (Marietta), Janet VanHoutte and Carolyn Hessell (Tom Hancock); and her sister Grace DeBruyn. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Rd, Romeo, MI 48065). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clement Catholic Church (343 S Main St, Romeo, MI 48065).
