He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Patterson and Laura Patterson (Wisner); his wife Gerry; his son Bob Patterson; his grandson Brandon Shepherd; and his brothers, Roger and Patrick Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Patterson (Karen) of Kenosha, WI, Pamela Shepherd (Dennis) of Onsted and Laurie Dowis (Michael) of North Adams; his daughter-in-law Juli Patterson of Auburn, IN; and his pet Grizzly. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home - Addison (122 N Steer St, Addison, MI 49220). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
