We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2020, at the age of 90, Melvin Omar Gabara of Rogers City, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham and Margaret (Williams); his wife Lucille Kortman; his sons, Joseph and Scott; and his siblings, Elwood, Eleanor, Merton, George, Fay and Ardith.
He is survived by: his children, Fay Ranville (Jerry) of Charlevoix, MI and Daniel Gabara of Presque Isle; his sister Mayford Meixell (Robert) of Alpena; his daughter-in-law Christine Gabara Clark of Rogers City; his grandchildren, Kristen, Edward Joseph, Steven, Scott, Sam, Andrew, Jamin and Kathryn; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Sam, Luke, Elizabeth, Ethan, Tyler, Taylor, Judah and Johanna.
