She was predeceased by: her parents, Mollie Bruder (Schlager) and John Bruder; her husband Marvin Claus; her brother Wallace Bruder; her sister-in-law Sally Bruder; her sister Marilyn Heller; and her brother-in-law Leroy Heller.
She is survived by: her children, David Claus (Jan) of Lansing, Jane Macomber (Robert) of Rogers City and Lisa Claus (Sue Sullivan) of Ada; her grandchildren, Rob Macomber (Jennifer), Molly Branham (Aaron), Valerie Claus and Lynn Croze (Tim); her nephew Dr. John Bruder; and her niece Barbara Bruder York. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Betty's memory may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Hospice of Michigan.
