He is survived by: his wife Joanne Stankewitz of Rogers City; his children, Cheryl Sabina (Mike) of Almont, Amy Mantel (Chuck Bruning) of Bolton, Lisa Mantel (Stephanie Price) of Allen Park, Tim Mantel (Lucinda) of Clinton Township and Tony Mantel of Rogers City; his grandchildren, Brittany, Drew, Rachel, Jacob (Cindi), Joshua (Dianna), Travis, Sophia, Kennedy and Nicolai; and his great grandchildren, Keegan, Nevaeh, Olivia, Avery, Sophia and Josh Jr..
