He is survived by: his wife Melvina of Rodney; his children, Emma Taylor of Rodney and David Mercer of Big Rapids; his grandchildren, Brad Taylor, Michael Mercer, Haley Mercer and Korra Mercer; and his brothers, Carl, Gary and Tom Bonner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
