She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie Otto (Grubbe) and Harvey Otto; her husband Samuel Hassen; and her siblings, Keith "Keeter", Kenneth, Kalvin "Punk", Katherine "Tillie" and Karl.
She is survived by: her sister Karolyn "Midge" Otto; her son Marc Hassen; her daughter-in-law Joyce; her daughter Kara Howe; her son-in-law Robert Howe III; her children, Karla Kelch and Robert Hassen; her daughter-in-law Jody; and her daughter Devon Saker (Lauren). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
